GUILD WARS
1.0 Any GUILD with a TOWN CHARTER may request a Casus belli against any other GUILD with a TOWN CHARTER.
1.1 A Casus belli must state 3 things and have role play reason and evidence to support all 3 reasons.
(A) GUILD must lay out its reasons for going to war
(B) GUILD must explain Its intended means of prosecuting the war
(C) GUILD must provide the TERMS that others might take to dissuade it from going to war.
These 3 steps are called the ultima ratio and legalize the war in the eyes of the GODS and the people.
2.0 The Casus belli must be made on the forum under the WAR section, and follow the TEMPLATE.
A GM may be tagged in the post.
A GM will review the post to make sure that steps A , B and C are clear and that ROLE PLAY reasons have been provided other than “ I want to kill things “.
3.0 Once approved BY the CHURCH ( GMS ) :
(A)THE ATTACKING GUILD requesting the Casus Belli has 24 hours to have ALLIED guilds respond stating they will be supporting the ATTACKING GUILD. - Within the same thread -
(B) THE DEFENDING GUILD declared against has 24 hours to have ALLIED guilds respond stating they will be supporting the DEFENDING GUILD. - Within the same thread -
3.1 THE CHUCH (GM ) will accept the terms of the CASUS BELLI and rosters of involved Guilds ( town charters ) and lock the thread.
3.2 WAR IS NOW LIVE AS OF :THE FOLLOWING MONDAY AT 9AM SYDNEY TIME. ** unless otherwise stated in Casus Belli by GM**
(A)All guilds listed may now Kill On sight without declaration any opposing guilds listed in the Casus Belli
(B) Raids may now be done at any time without " RAIDERS APPROACH " declaration.
(C) All other raiding rules still apply.
(D) WAR will END on the FRIDAY at 9am of that week for a 12 hour cease fire for all parties to discuss terms
(E) Church will REOPEN thread and ask if the DEFENDERS have come to terms ( Surrendered ) to the ATTACKERS.
(F) A refusal or a no response FRIDAY 9pm Sydney Time will result in a war being reopened , and a 2 hour JUSTICE HOUR being set for a FORMAL Siege against the defenders TOWN at 7pm SYDNEY TIME Saturday.
(G) If the siege is successful and all defenders are either killed , yield or leave the settlement and flee ... the attacking guild is considered to have won the war and may have cause to claim ownership of the defenders province.
(H) if the siege is defeated and all the attackers are either killed , yield or leave the battle ... the defending guild is considered to have won the war and may either END the war , or request a siege on the SUNDAY at 7pm SYDNEY TIME against there attackers.
(I) If attackers won or the defenders won and ended the war the WAR Is now over.
(J) If the Defenders won , sieges and won or lost that siege . the WAR is now over.
Attacking Guilds can not make another war request for 2 weeks.
DEFENDING guild ONLY if they counter sieges CANNOT make a war request for 2 weeks.
